Mind, Body and Soul
Mind, Body and Soul is a mediation/yoga program for young women aged 12-15 years to aid relaxation. It also provides a space to talk about issues of adjusting to high school, and the demands high school presents. It is held at Banyule Community Health Centre on Fridays during school term from 4pm -5.15pm.

Frank magazine
Frank magazine is for young women containing positive, attainable, genuine information about living a happy, healthy life. Forget dieting, models, celebrities, and stupid tips; Frank is about inspiration, real career advice, relationships, current affairs, and education. Young women are also encouraged to contribute to the magazine - writing and photography are always sought.

Red Cross Youth
Red Cross Youth is an online magazine written by young people for young people. In each addition they look at the big (and sometimes not so big) issues that affect young people's lives in Australia and overseas. The magazine also provides a section for you to have your say, share your art or ask about things that matter to you. The latest edition is now available online.

Asista Mentoring and Friendship Program
The Asista Mentoring and Friendship Program endeavours to provide a positive role model, through mentoring and support, to disadvantaged young women. Asista mentors are matched to referred young women.
Young women referred to the Asista program are aged between 12 and 21, live in the North Western Metropolitan Region of Melbourne, and are clients of the Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Protection, or have been involved in the Juvenile Justice System.
These young women are considered particularly vulnerable and 'at risk' due to a range of complex issues. Young women referred may be living in a residential unit, or at home with one or both parents. Asista is currently seeking new mentors.

Foundation for Young Australians
Their mission is to empower young Australians to be successful learners and creative, active and valued citizens.
They do this by supporting innovative approaches, providing rich learning opportunities and developing resources that inspire and challenge young Australians and improve their wellbeing. private i: A new privacy publication
The Office of the Privacy Commissioner is the Australian Government body that promotes and protects privacy in Australia. They've just launched a publication called private i: your ultimate privacy survival guide. Available both in hard copy and online, it presents information on your privacy rights and other privacy issues. Whether you never think about privacy or always do, this publication is for you. It'll tell you what some of the privacy issues are that you may face, some of the pitfalls to avoid, and who to turn to for help if your privacy has been affected.

Greensborough Youth Lounge
The Youth Lounge is located at shop 72 Main St, Greensborough, just down from the Chemist Warehouse. Young people can drop in to chat, play x-box and other games. The Greensborough Youth Lounge is now open on Wednesdays from 3pm till 5pm, Thursdays from 3pm till 9pm and Fridays from 3pm till 9pm.
Thirst Youth Group
Park Orchards Oasis Christian Church has developed the Thirst Youth Group for local young people aged 12-18 years! Go along to the launch on Friday 14 August and have fun socializing, playing video games, team games and learning life skills! This program will run every Friday from 4.30pm-5.45pm at Dominey's Reserve, Knees Road, Park Orchards.

The Young Scientists of Australia
The Young Scientists of Australia is a national organisation of young people involved in promoting science to their peers. The organisation is split into three state-based chapters (Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane), and in total have over a thousand members, aged from 13 to mid-twenties, spread throughout Australia. The Young Scientists of Australia Melbourne Chapter is a social group of 15 to 25 year olds who are interested in science (Even if they don't do well in it). They run monthly social events as well as help out at various science schools.

Teenage Activity Group (TAG)
TAG is a fun packed activities program, especially designed for young people. The program includes activities like Go Karting, Bowling, Swimming and Movies. TAG is for young people aged between 11 - 16 years who live in the City of Whittlesea and attend secondary school. It runs Wednesdays, after school and during school holidays.

The Multifaith Multicultural committee
Are you aged 16 - 25 years and interested in Victoria's Multifaith and Multicultural diversity? The Multifaith Multicultural committee was originally established to focus on young people of diverse faith and cultures. It is comprised of 25 young people who provide advice to the government on a number of issues and initiatives. They are currently seeking applications for the committee.
