Volunteering creates an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community, connect with your neighbours, be involved in your neighbourhood and share your skills with others. You will gain a great deal of satisfaction from making a difference! You can volunteer in an area that interests you, learn new skills, meet new people and add variety to your work experience.
Around 4.4 million Australians make a difference in their local community by volunteering each year, doing a wide range of tasks for a wide range of non-profit organisations. If you are interested in volunteering, contact one of the listed agencies or follow-up on the opportunities we have listed below.

people to the aid and development sector through active campaigning.
As a Generator, you will attend weekly sessions that develop your practical skills and train you to be an
effective agent of change. Generate is specifically designed to give new volunteers the chance to make
a meaningful contribution, without having to commit all of their time or have specialist skills.
Round 3 applications close Saturday 28 February 2010!
