When two lives collide, 16 year old Jack and 316 year old Talia find themselves in a mess. They start off not liking each other in the slightest, Talia finds Jack rather odd and Jack finds Talia is a spoilt little princess. Talia’s aim is to make Jack fall in love with her even though she doesn’t love him herself. They soon find that they both have changed, and definitely for the better. This romantic novel written by Alex Flinn is beautifully written. It shows perspective from both the main characters. It is a modern take on sleeping beauty and it is definitely the best book I have read. Once you pick it up it seems impossible to put down. The thrills of what Talia and Jack go through feels like you are standing there with them. It is an extremely good book and I would recommend it to all teenagers.
