I am a 15 year old student in year 10. My name is Joely and I love writing and reporting on current issues and want to one day work in the world of journalism.
My favourite subject at school has always been English and I am looking forward to doing some interesting subjects next year in year 11. I have been learning French ever since I started High School, and I love it! It is very challenging, but I do love the challenge. I am definitely going to continue doing French in year 12 and one day would love to travel the world and even try out some of my French language skills in France one day too.
Outside of school I love swimming, surfing and doing yoga, I've done yoga for under a year, I love it- it is much harder than it looks and it is very revitalising. I love watching TV and going on the computer, some of my favourite shows are Neighbours, The Hills, Gossip Girl, Brothers and Sisters and many more!
I am a very free going person who is up for a challenge and always willing to learn something new. The Roving Reporters is an amazing way for young people to write about things they love and to express themselves and I am lucky to be a part of it.
