We all want to save the environment for the younger generations, but where to start? We can't all have solar panels and fancy wind mills, so why not start with the small stuff - the stuff that makes the big differences.
Eltham Primary has by banning plastic bottles, and I think the wider community should too. Maybe instead of plastic we could have cartons, and even then we should have our own re-usable drink bottle or flask. And if it does become a desperate situation where you absolutely have to buy a plastic drink bottle, why not fill it up and use it again.
The situation is becoming quite desperate with climate change and global warming and we need to do something, now, even if it is small, but not insignificant because someone will always be sure to notice it-Mother Nature.
